Why "Things school never taught you" matters

Traditional education excels at teaching facts, formulas, and frameworks. But it often skips the lessons that actually shape how we live: how to manage money responsibly, how to navigate relationships with depth, how to think for ourselves, and how to build meaningful work and lives.

We spend years in classrooms learning things we'll forget, while the practical wisdom that would genuinely improve our lives goes unspoken. This space collects those missing lessons—the ones that matter most.

The goal isn't to replace formal education. It's to fill in the gaps. To create a resource where curious people can discover the lessons they wish they'd learned sooner.

"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world. But first, you have to change how we teach."

Who's behind this

This project exists because I spent years in traditional education, graduated, and realized the most valuable things I've learned came from life—not classrooms. I watched friends struggle with money they'd never been taught to manage. I saw brilliant people doubt themselves because no one had built them up. I noticed we were all fumbling through the same lessons that nobody had formally addressed.

So I started collecting the lessons that matter. The ones that actually change how you live. The ones about thinking clearly, building resilience, creating meaning, and becoming the kind of person who doesn't just exist in the world but genuinely engages with it.

This is a work in progress. Not because it's incomplete, but because learning never is. As we discover more, this collection will grow. You're not just reading lessons—you're part of building a resource that future people can learn from.
